In simple terms, when yogic techniques are customised just for you based on your current health issue is yoga therapy. For example, suppose you are experiencing insomnia (lack of sleep). In that case, we will review your daily routine, food habits, range of motion, breathing pattern etc. Based on these inputs, we will develop specific yoga training just for you, teach you how to practice at home, and support you in achieving better sleep.

What is the process of yoga therapy?

It includes the following steps.

  1. You complete the ‘Yoga therapy consulting form’ and register for three yoga therapy sessions. 
  2. We review the information provided by you and schedule a ‘one-on-one’ session of one-hour duration.
  3. The first session: We ask clarifying questions, examine a range of motion, recommend and teach a routine that you c

It includes the following steps.

  1. You complete the ‘Yoga therapy consulting form’ and register for three yoga therapy sessions. 
  2. We review the information provided by you and schedule a ‘one-on-one’ session of one-hour duration.
  3. The first session: We ask clarifying questions, examine a range of motion, recommend and teach a routine that you can practice at home. 
  4. We schedule the subsequent sessions after two weeks, and during this period, you practice the routine at home. You can get in touch with us to clarify any doubt about practice. 
  5. The second session: We observe your practice and suggest corrections (if any). Review progress towards achieving your desired goals, ask clarifying questions, modify the procedure (if necessary). 
  6. You continue practising the modified yoga routine for the next two weeks. 
  7. Third session: You provides us with any additional feedback, and we discuss your other goals (if any). You continue to practice with a sense of empowerment and with better health & happiness.
