Lying awake, mind racing, watching the clock? Personalised yoga therapy in Darch helps quiet an overactive nervous system so your body can find deep, natural rest again.
Poor sleep is often a nervous-system problem: the body stays in “alert” mode long after the day is done. Yoga therapy works directly with this. Research summarised by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) suggests gentle evening practices, slow breathing and guided relaxation may help the body wind down and improve sleep quality.
A tailored programme may help you:
• Fall asleep more easily by calming a busy mind
• Reduce night-time waking and clock-watching
• Release the physical tension that keeps you wired
• Build a simple, repeatable wind-down routine
• Feel less reliant on “pushing through” on no sleep
Yoga therapy complements, and does not replace, care from your GP. If sleep problems are severe or ongoing, we're glad to work alongside your health team.
We start with an unhurried conversation about your sleep patterns, lifestyle and stress. From there we design a calming practice that suits your body — no experience needed. You'll leave with a short evening routine you can do at home in your own time.
Adults in Perth dealing with insomnia, light or broken sleep, shift-work fatigue, or a mind that won't switch off at night — who'd prefer a calm, drug-free, one-on-one approach.
